Key Project Experience
Anaconda Waterlines
Designed over 76,000 linear feet of new waterlines, water service lines and curb stop replacements with a constructed value of approximately $14.5 million. Responsible for financial success of the project, including budget reviews, monthly client billing, and oversight of waterline design team. Coordinated design team consisting of surveyors, geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, drafters, and construction inspectors. Also responsible for all phases of the a master plan update, including coordination with the owner, data gathering and analysis, prioritization of improvements, development of recommendations, and presentation to council of commissioners and the grant agency.
Office Manager
Managed the Butte DOWL HKM engineering office from 2013 to 2014. Staff included administrative, geotechnical, water, wastewater, and transportation engineers, construction inspectors, drafters, and IT. Responsible for developing a business plan for the office, controlling office expenses, adding staff, marketing new and existing clients, and mentoring the existing staff. In addition, managed the second largest client in the Western Montana Region of DOWL HKM, which includes 5 offices, while concurrently managing up to 8 other projects.
Wastewater Conveyance Design
Project engineer in charge of design of approximately 10,000 linear feet of gravity sewer, two sewer lift stations, a force main pigging vault, and over 30,000 feet of sanitary sewer force main to the Butte Metro Wastewater Treatment Facility. Responsible for developing construction drawings, coordinating drafting team, and reviewing preliminary drawings.
Site Development Projects
Project manager responsible for survey, geotechnical investigation, environmental assessment, site grading, drainage design, and permitting in support of several development projects in Butte. Sites included but were not limited to Walgreens Pharmacy, Meadowlands Senior Apartments, Butte High School, St. James Hospital, Hillcrest Elementary, Highlands Collage, and MT Tech.
